This morning, I ran an improv workshop for my wife’s company, HiQ Labs. This is one of the many hats that I wear. I teach people communication skills using a variety of techniques that have their roots in theater while incorporating random material from neuroscience and elsewhere. It’s a lot of fun. I think they liked it. But now I am blurry. Very very blurry.
Perhaps it was because we did it outside, on a hilltop, in a garden, in blazing, unreasonable sunshine. Perhaps because I was putting out a little too much energy. Perhaps it was because I failed to drink any more than half a glass of water. But in any case, I am ruined for fiction this afternoon, and pretty much everything else. Blergh.
